Patient Survey 2019

The results from the practice survey carried out during the week 4th - 8th February 2019 were as follows:-

All returns were anonymous. We received 99 responses from 150 questionnaires.

Question: How satisfied are you with the care you receive from this Practice?

Q1:      99 responses:-

  • 83 Very Satisfied (84%)
  • 9 Fairly Satisfied (9%)
  • 6 Satisfied (6%)
  • 1 Dissatisfied (1%)

Question: How likely would you be to recommend your GP practice to someone who has just moved in to the local area?

Q2:      99 responses:-

  • Extremely likely:  90 (91%)
  • Likely:                   9 (9%)
  • Neither likely or unlikely: 0
  • Unlikely: 0
  • Don’t know: 0

 

Q3:     36 responses also included the following comments:-

 The patients were randomly selected but overall the questionnaires returned were fairly representative of the practice profile.

 The patients were of different age groups as below:-

  • Aged 16 to 44 = 20
  • Aged 45-64 = 22
  • Aged 65-74 = 39
  • Aged 75 and over = 18

 

40% of the returned questionnaires were from male patients and 60% from female patients.

Summary:

The results: Q2 -Would you recommend your GP Practice to someone who has just moved into the local area?  100% of respondents would recommend the practice

 Question 3 – the comments. The majority of respondents did not add a comment but generally feedback received was positive and encouraging. A few have mentioned the waiting time to see their preferred GP but given that demand far outweighs available appointments it is inevitable to have a waiting time. Patients need to be prepared to see any available GP in an urgent situation and in that instance we would endeavor to offer an appointment within 3 working days.
